Pentatonix: A Christmas Spectacular

The Nutcracker

For the rest of December, experience the magic of The Washington Ballet’s charmingly-DC The Nutcracker at the Warner Theater! This celebrated production is set in historic 1882 Georgetown with George Washington, King George III, and other historical figures. Set to Tchaikovsky’s magical score, this celebrated classic comes to life with intricate, stunning set designs, original period costumes, and over 100 dancers including students and trainees from The Washington School of Ballet. A Christmas Carol

Enjoy the classic holiday show, ‘A Christmas Carol’ at Ford’s Theatre (at 511 10th St. NW, Washington, DC 20004) this year. The show is playing until December 31st. Featuring famous actor Craig Wallace as Ebenezer Scrooge in the iconic show inundated with music and magic. The program is two hours long with an intermission. Hip Hop Nutcracker

Attend the Hip Hop Nutcracker at Strathmore’s Music Center in Bethesda, Maryland this year. From December 19th to December 22nd at 8:00 PM each night, you don’t want to miss this event. This holiday mash-up is celebrating its 10th anniversary, so make sure to join Maria-Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they set off for a magical adventure in modern day New York City. The Hip Hop Nutcracker features Tchaikovsky’s classic score with all-star contemporary and hip-hop dancers, a DJ, a violinist, and Kurtis Blow, one of hip-hop’s founding fathers, who opens the show with a short set. The show includes innovative visual effects that transform the landscape of the original and beloved story from traditional 19th century Germany to the vibrant, diverse sights and sounds of modern urban life in NYC. A Candlelight Christmas

The Washington Chorus’ “A Candlelight Christmas!” is a 75-minute holiday music experience, a treasured tradition you won’t want to miss.
